Last weekend, Paddington Library hosted its traditional Christmastide fun afternoon for the community.
Library staff read chapter one of Dickens’ famous ghost story – A Christmas Carol – to members of the library Reading Group. We were then joined by the pastor, Jem, Geoff and their colleagues from the Westbourne Park Baptist Church for a singalong of a medley of carols. This was followed by Christmas tree decoration, mince pies and mulled wine.
“A jolly nice event, why does Christmas come only once a year?”
