Savage Magic in St John’s Wood

Author Lloyd Shepherd at St john's Wood Library, January 2015On Monday 19 January the St John’s Wood Library Crime Readers’ group and guests welcomed back historical crime writer Lloyd Shepherd to talk about his latest book ‘Savage Magic’; this is his third stand alone novel with the detectives John Harriot and Charles Horton.

The Crime Readers Group members had all read the book in advance and were armed with ‘very difficult’ questions, but Lloyd richly entertained with tales of Victorian salaciousness and mystery. Do check out all three of Lloyd’s books on the Westminster library catalogue: The English Monster, The Poisoned Island and Savage Magic.
