African Dance at Marylebone Library

Marylebone Library was alive with African beats and a lively group of children attending a very special African Dance workshop during Black History Month. Faith Ndirangu from Healthier Life 4 You taught the children (and their teachers) some basic dance steps. Everyone was given beautiful pieces of African print fabric to use during the dancing and the children even got to keep a piece of their favourite fabric to take home.

Comments from the children included:

“I liked dancing.  It was fun when we were shaking and moving around!”

“I felt happy when we were dancing!  I got very tired at the end.”

“The music was very fast and cheerful!”
