Lives of crime in St John’s Wood

Crime Writing Panel discussion at St John's Wood Library, February 2014The St John’s Wood Library Crime Readers’ Group invited Elizabeth Speller, Lloyd Shepherd and William Ryan to visit last week. They entertained with stories of their lives, writing and research.
Each author writes about quite different types of historical crime, covering very different periods and using different research methods and different libraries, but their repartee with each other was both entertaining and informative.

The Crime Readers Group each chose to read a few books from the panel’s complete works which made for an excellent Question & Answer session. Click on the names to find each author’s works available from Westminster Libraries:

William Ryan | Elizabeth Speller | Lloyd Shepherd

This event was funded by the ward budgets for Abbey Road and Regent’s Park wards.
