Maryanne Kerr, well known local resident, busker, author and pink fashionista hosted her 80th birthday party in St John’s Wood Library at the weekend.
Maryanne entertained everyone with songs accompanied by her piano harp and was interviewed by the St John’s Wood history group for their website St John’s Wood Memories. Copies of Maryanne’s memoir ‘Over the mountain’ were available to borrow and children also made Maryanne inspired decoupage bookmarks.
It was a wonderful occasion to bring the community together in celebration of such an inspiring local resident.

Delighted to learn that Maryanne published a memoir. Always knew she was a born writer. Her residence (and garden) in Dublin c. 1989 was a blaze of colour.
