Last week, author Judyth Gregory-Smith flew in from Malaysia to discuss her new book Myanmar: A Memoir of Loss and Recovery at an event in Pimlico Library. The book is her story of returning to Myanmar (also known as Burma) following the death of her husband and the discovery of a wonderful people and country.
During the session Judyth read excerpts from the book and took questions on a variety of topics concerning Myanmar.
She also also answered questions about writing from a young writer in attendance (pictured) and sold signed copies.
Proceeds from the sales of the book go towards helping a variety of projects to alleviate poverty in Myanmar.
