Church Street Graffiti

Church Street Library was excited to host another successful graffiti workshop during the May half term holiday. The event was organised by the Church Street Reading Activists, a group of young people aged 11-19 who meet regularly to plan youth events in the library. It’s been two years since our last graffiti workshop, which is also featured on the Church Street Reading Activists Facebook page.

Every participant got a chance to spray the boards and contribute to the design, which was themed on the idea of graffiti art as a form of positive self expression.  Thanks to Leon from Seven Stars for running the workshop and providing the expertise and inspiration.
