On Saturday 23 February, forty-five people braved the cold weather to come to Victoria Library and celebrate the book launch of Top Tips for Raising Today’s Teens. The book’s author, Martha Matthews, had this to say:
“The launch of Top Tips for Raising Today’s Teens was a massive success. All of the hard work and preparation was well worth it. Colossal thanks to those who braved the freezing Saturday and crazy traffic conditions to make it down to Victoria Library.
Kat Francois was a fantastic host! The audience were immediately put at ease with her jokes and stories about being raised as one of seven siblings. My young helpers were such a great help, and the friends who volunteered their services are just irreplaceable.
Much gratitude to the ones who spoke up about the book, and the service providers who added testimonials about the work I provide. I could not have asked for a better turn out, or a better event. Thanks to those who purchased the book: I am confident it will add something to the relationship you have with your teen. All in all a fab day.”
