Sheep may safely graze… in the library

A flock of sheep is currently to be found in Marylebone Library.

"The Company of Sheep" - an exhibition by David Oldman, in Marylebone Library

Sorry to disappoint any shepherds/shepherdesses/sheepdogs looking for work in the area. The sheep in question are in photographs taken by David Oldman, who works at Marylebone Information Service, and spends most of his spare time walking all over the UK, snapping views as he goes.

The views often include sheep, munching peacefully away as David toils his way up mountains and across bogs, so they get the star billing. “The Company of Sheep” continues in the Lending Library at Marylebone until 20 April.
