… and he says, “I’ve got these photographs…” This is not a shaggy dog tale.
Jonathan Stone offered to exhibit some of his photos, taken on his mobile phone early in the morning in Regents Park. The off-white walls of Marylebone Lending Library perfectly set off Jonathan’s moody, often misty scenes, perfectly capturing the magic of the hours immediately after sunrise.
The colours are subtly altered by the morning mists and, in a few of the pictures, by the effect of light reflected by snow. Highly enjoyable.
You can view Jonathan’s pictures in Marylebone Library until 22 December, and can meet the artist on 15 December from 6.00pm.
