Not so secret Santa…

A very lively bunch of children had themselves a merry little pre-Christmas party in Westminster Music Library. This was all courtesy of, and with just a little help from, certain members of library staff – thinly disguised as Santa’s helpers…

With stories about presents, songs about reindeers, a grand finale of jingle bells with several rousing choruses, and featuring added percussion played by the budding young musicians amongst our young audience. What a treat! What a festive noise!

But where was Santa? Did he get stuck up the chimney? Well there’s only so far we can push our resident pianist, and dressing up as Santa proved to be just a semiquaver too far, but there’s always next year…

“Thank you so much, we had a lovely time, we’ll definitely be back for more”
“She loves music and really enjoyed banging the tambourine!”
“I think he wants to start piano lessons”
“Thanks for a lovely morning and Happy Christmas to all the staff”
