Have you signed up for Circus Stars?

The 'Read Your Future' Tent at Queen's Park LibraryThe Circus Stars Summer Reading Challenge has got off to a flying start, with more than 20 related events across Westminster libraries in the first week alone!

If you (or your children) haven’t joined yet, there’s still loads of time to get involved, get reading and have loads of fun. Just pop in to your local library, sign up and pick up a circus stage to get you started.

Kate at Queen’s Park Library reports:

Snazzy waistcoats at Queen's Park Library!“The Summer Read is in full swing here at Queen’s Park.  We have a ‘Read Your Future’ Tent in our new children’s library where it is all happening. You can see that the staff – including manager Hugh, have all entered into the Circus spirit with their colourful waistcoats!

We had a very successful opening on Saturday 23 July, with stalls set up outside in the next door playground. Readers signed up and then were treated to candy floss from the candy floss machine or they decorated biscuits and played games.  We had a jolly visit from WAES Family Learning inside and children and parents worked together to make eco-friendly circus toys.”
