e-resource of the week: Which?

Get help with consumer purchases with Which.co.ukWhich? Magazine is available in print at six Westminster Libraries (Marylebone Information Service, Maida Vale, Mayfair, St John’s Wood, Victoria, and Westminster Reference Library), including back issues and indexes.

As a bonus, the subscribing branches can offer access to the full Which? website, where you can find the same reviews, news, guides and consumer advice, but much more of each.

When the choice out there seems overwhelming, you can narrow it down nicely online. Construct a search for, say, a washing machine, by saying which features are essential to you, and Which? will match your requirements to the reviews. It’s all written in clear, plain English so you know what’s what. And if you only want to see Best Buys, that’s all you will see.

I like the Best Buys, but even better are the Don’t Buys – Which? doesn’t shrink from saying, “it may look like a bargain, but don’t be tempted”.

Which? This service is only available on the computers at the Westminster libraries listed above – it’s one of our ‘In-House Specials’. Ask a member of staff to log you in.
