Rumi returns

Books by RumiThe Paddington Library Rumi Group made a welcome return last week when thirteen people responded to the call to enjoy and appreciate the poetry of Rumi, the 12th Century mystic poet, who has become one of the most popular poets in the Western World today.

Like Shakespeare’s simple and timeless words “to be or not to be”, Rumi’s words in the Persian language are direct with images from everyday life, and filled with rhythm.

The group meets on the last Thursday of the month, in Paddington Library.
