Paddington Library Reader’s Group marked the BBC promotion of Mood Boosting Books by examining a number of titles on the recommended list:
- The five people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom
- Jonathan Livingstone Seagull by Richard Bach
- Diary of a Nobody by George Grossmith
The group found all three titles hugely enjoyable, positive and agreeable reads.

The group will meet next on 19 November, to discuss books about the paranormal and the mysterious.
There will be an extra meeting for National Short Story Week on 26 November, and then there will be a Christmas themed meeting (with mince pies!) on 17 December. You are welcome to come along and join in with one or all. Please note that all three meetings will take place in the separate children’s library due to the main building being closed for redecoration.
